Hello, I spend most my time in the pre-war section of the vcca chat forum but I have friend who is rebuilding his 1954 6 cylinder and tells me he cannot find a replacement oil pan. That is the last thing needed before it goes on the dyno. I did a search in the forums did not see any previous chats on oil pan replacement and did not see anything at filling station so figured I would ask you folks. the oil pan is full of pin holes
I have a 235 out of 54 pickup, I would have to get it off and check it to make sure it’s good. It may be Sunday before I would be able get it off. Let me know if you still need one.

ok so it looks like there is no aftermarket pans out there to buy, i will let him know it looks like ebay is the only source. it also looks like a few different pans based on the oil pick up style.
as of today 10/22 i saw no oil pans on ebay try facebook 1953-54 chevy group if not mistaken there are a couple of guys parting out 53-54 one guy is in michigan i think his name is dubois and another guy in pikeville tenn is getting ready to get rid of his salvage yard he had lot of them hope this helps good luck
If one out of a 54 pickup will work I have one on a block that is stuck, would have to get it off to make sure it’s ok.
