As Steve pointed out I was away for the entire week of Hershey and just spent the last week packing everything back up.

I have used the Steele product on 3 cars, it is double the cost but it fit perfectly. The fit is dictated by nylon pins that are molded into the weather strip. If the location of the pins id off it will make the weatherstrip look lumpy. A trick I learned is to wipe it down with prep-sol to remove all of the silicon off of the weatherstrip. The silicon is used as a release agent to remove it from the mold, and weather strip adhesive will not bond to silicon. There is a few areas where it will be needed around the "A" pillar. Do a test fit before, just do not push the nylon pins in. Also make sure that the all of the debris left over from the old weatherstrip is removed.

Thanks for you patience waiting for my reply, good luck

John, how long have these seals lasted for you?

This has always been one of my fears with buying the most expensive rubber products available only to have them crack and crumble in 5 years so that you are buying again. I had some Vette items do this from a reputable manufacturer and it really ticked me off as it was such a waste of money and energy to replace only to watch it turn to crap before my eyes...

I personally can not say how long they last., the ones in my 60 were installed only three years ago. I have never heard anyone complaining about them. I am more concerned about the fit then anything else.

The upper seals I am speaking about are the FELT seals in the upper window channel , seals to the chrome trim around the glass, these seals are FELT , not rubber , fit in the stainless steel channel thanks NOTE I don't think anyone sells the felt to repair this channel ???
