I recently deciphered the numbers on the SBC in my '55 2dr sedan, it turns out to be a '69 302 4bolt main engine from a Z28. 3970010 on rear of block and V1006CKD on flat under passenger head. Can anyone shed some light on this engine as to rarity, desirability, etc? Thanks in advance. PS I'm slow about getting around to messages so be patient waiting for me to respond.I'm usually over in the areas for '46 and '50 Chevys.

V1006CKD decodes out to:
V = Flint 1006 = Oct 6 CKD = 350 auto 1972-74
1969 Camaro Z28 302 stamp pads end in DZ
The casting of 3970010 was used in late '69 Z28 302's but also used in a number of 350's. The stamp pad is your key.
