On a recent California tour event (Lost Coast Road) I had some folding chairs on the back seat bouncing around which left marks on the back of the mohair seat. I was wondering if anyone had ever tried steaming the mohair and if it would do any damage.

If it is original mohair it is woo and steam will raise the nap. f it is modern synthetic material not so much but worth a try.

Damp cloth and a clothes iron might steam it enough to relieve the marks.
