You need to find the model number and post it.

It looks like 1/2 of a 1956, but go ahead and post the Model number or some more pictures.

It does not have a model number on it. That's why I'm asking your expert about an approximate year. :)

OK, so it is the tuner unit for the 1956 PB radio.

thanks. I have a couple of other pieces that are speakers and tube amplifier parts. They may go to the same radio. Is that how these radios were set up? I can also post pics of the speaker/amp parts. Thanks

From what you are telling me, the power supply/speaker units are the missing 1/2 of the control unit. The radio is correct for the 1956, but may be used in the 1955 passenger cars also.

Here's the speakers and amp that came with the radio. Does one or both of these go with this radio?

Thanks in advance.

Either one of those will complete a radio when mated to your tuning unit.

It"s a 56 radio as the face plate on the 55 does not have the civil defense dots and the 56
has one at each end where the numbers are. hood
