I have seen two different ways to do the top bows of the of a 1927 Cabriolet and both are different. Does anyone own a 1927 Cabriolet that can help me with measurements or find the bow or bows?? Are bows from another model going to work???Does anyone have any measurements. I have pics of the blue one, maybe Mr. Bradford's, he sent me, not sure, and some pics of a green one, being made. Does anyone out there own a 1927 Cabriolet??????????????

Go to the VCCA website and search the membership for "Cabriolet" or "1927 Texas" or "Couch". One or more of those combinations should find an owner of a '27 Cabriolet in Richmond, TX. Bob has owned his for many years. The VCCA President also owns one, purchased years ago from another Texan. Might just go see Bob as Richmond is not too far from DeKalb in Texas terms. Much less than half a state away.

Part of the reason I posted as I did is so both VCCA members and non-members would know that the membership database can be searched to find other members that might have something that would be of help. It is a tremendous asset to VCCA members who use it. I do frequently.

I tried and found what Chipper was referring to. On the VCCA home page do a member search using 1927 cabriolet as the reference. There will be several hits and the person Chipper referred to is one of them.

Go to the main VCCA (not chat) website (https://vcca.site-ym.com) and register with your magic number on the address and info card that comes with G&D mailing. If you can't find the number call membership services and Peter will help you. Once you are registered on the VCCA website you can see a ton of things reserved for VCCA members. One is a searchable membership database. It is fairly straight forward searching. You can also see technical articles, Back issues of G&Ds. Current issue and a lotsa other stuff. It is a major plus for VCCA members.

Does that help guys?
