Are the indented grooves in the door handles and the wing in the top of the grill suppose to be painted black of a 1936 Master FA?

Door handles not painted.
Not sure of what you mean by wing on top of grilles.

Accessory Hood ornament - no

Thank you. Yes, I do mean the accessory Hood Ornament. I believe the backs of the bumpers and the sides of the vertical grille members are to be painted. Is that correct?

The back side of the bumpers were ether sprayed with a dul silver paint or had just a poor dull chromed finish.
No paint on the grille bars.

I have NOS grilles, from the 1930s that are painted black on the back side. I do not know about a '36 grille specifically.
I believe your hood bird had the recessed grooves, in the wings, painted black.

Thanks for the reply Mike. And thank you for agreeing with me the the 36 is the most beautiful car of all pre-war Chevrolet's. Hahahah.

Tom,
I just re-read my post. I'm not seeing what you see.
