Hello; I need some advice from some of you 1947 Stylemaster "Gurus".Will FS's-[Speedometer gauge 0-90 P/N TR-340{cat/p173}] work/fit for my '47?? If not does any one have a good usable working speedometer,at a REASONABLE price, that will do the job for my "Daily Driver" so me the g kids&the "old lady" can drive around with out guessing what our speed is--a good '47 is hard to hold down(LOL). THANK YOU for any help/advice for this new Chevy owner!---davids---Have a good day&Take care--- PS I am a T Model Ford convert--Thank goodness

A quick fix to keep you motoring is to download a speedometer app for your phone. The one I use is free. Those with speedos will find it interesting how some cars are dead on accurate and some are way off.

Hello: Thanks for the suggestions! ---ruscar I thank you for the link for "ebay" speedometer, but I have found that it is a crap shoot on what the seller has.so for about 30+% more I can a new one with a warranty. If I was good enough to do speedometer repair I would take chance . ---dave39md- You got it right ,I have been using the cell phone. --Now if one of the club members has a good used one at a reasonable price I would be VERY interested in it! ---Again I appreciate the replies!!---davids(POPS)---Have a good day &Take care---
