Hi has any members renewed the decals on a early Chevrolet Instrument panel. I have purchased a set for my 34 Standard coupe and would appreciate any advice before I attempting to do this job.

I bought a set for my '33 but have never gotten around to putting them on, It looks like it could be a tricky job plus I would have to take them out of the dash. Good Luck with your project!

I refaced the gauges on my 32 and while it was a challenge if you are careful and patient it is not complicated. Not sure how the 34 gauges are made but the face plates on the 32 are riveted on and needed to be removed. I used a dremel to grind off the rivet heads and replaced them using small screws. I believe the decal kits came with all the instructions and if followed you should have good results. The most difficult part was removing and replacing the bezels on the gauges.
