I want to replace the pinion seal before I put my 51 1 Ton on the road, some day. Looking at the manual, it seems that the seal is replaced from the inside of the bearing retainer plate. that means the plate comes off to do the job. Does this not disturb the gear clearance setup, or am I missing something here ?

My 1951 1 Ton is now on the road! My 38 Master 4 Door is also now on the road .
