Hi.
I am restoring a 1919 490 and have the rear axle disassembled. The axle bearings are the "T-Ford" type of long rollers.
I ordered new rear axle outer bearings from Gary Wallace, "307" which are "normal" ballbearings. In the 1918-1924 manual it shows the roller types, btw 4" longon all 490- Superior models and that is what was installed.
I have a running 490 which has the roller type bearings.
Anyone having experience with the "307" type?

Olle
