The 1930 does not use a Carter W-1 as they were downdraft carburetors. The Carter RJH-08 is an updraft. The numbers cast in were pattern or mold numbers or patent numbers so don't help with identification of the application. The number of screws holding the float bowl cover, air horn are clues. As are straight or dog-leg throttle arms, single plate or two plate chokes, round or flat accelerator plungers are much better to identify. Of course after ~ 80 years modifications are likely so the original application may not be how the carburetor is currently set up.

The first downdraft for Chevrolet was 1932 Carter W-1 with the idle adjustment screw just under the air horn. The 1933 looked the same but had a port for vacuum in line with the throttle shaft. Jon Hargrove "Carbking" has put together a dynamite website with beaucoup information on all kinds of carburetors. http://www.thecarburetorshop.com/CarterChevroletW1.htm Should get you to the pages to identify your W-1 carburetors.
