Anyone having questions, general in nature, about a 1925-31, should go back in their stasch of G&Ds and pull out the November 2013 issue. This contains probably the best descriptions of these vehicles ever assembled. This series was written by the Technical Advisors and contained correct information about each year series.

If interested in the building of the 1928 engine, go down the list of threads until you get to the Tech Talk. Find the entry "School is in Session" and the "flip book" entry. Most of the information would apply to the building a 6 or 8 cylinder engine also.

Good reading!

The articles in the November 2013 G&D that Ray mentions are full of great tips and info. If you don't have the physical magazine, it was scanned and is available to read online on the G&D web page in the Members Area off the main VCCA web site.

Also, the 'School is in Session' contains a wealth of knowledge, as well as being very entertaining! I've read it a couple of times and still go back to it as a reference document!

Another adventure in reading about the rebuilding a '28 engine can be found here: Resurrecting a '28 4 banger

Happy reading! Dean
