Nowhere can I find how to put the horn mechanism on the steering wheel back together again. Does anyone have a diagram of the working of the horn? Thanks

I have the factory accessory installation manual and it is of no help on installing the accessory steering wheel. It basically says to remove the equipment wheel by removing the nut and washer and replacing them after installing the accessory wheel. " The adjustment of the horn blowing ring is set at the factory; no further adjustment is necessary." Are you in fact installing the " banjo steering wheel"? I am not familiar with the accessory wheel but do have a couple of the standard wheels off the car and may be able to help with that set up. If you send me you phone number in a PM I can give you a call .

If you look in the 49-53 service manual under section 9-8 there is a perfect cut away view picture of both the standard wheel and the deluxe wheel.
