I've been doing some re-upholstery work on my front seat back rest cushion for my 37 Master Deluxe. Along the top of the seat there's whats called a Randall Moulding that tacks onto the seat top. Does anyone know where I can get another one of these? or what I can replace it with? Thanks,

Do you have a picture of your original?

I have a black piece of rubber material shaped like a body side molding with a row of tacks molded into the entire underside. This came with my car and I assume it goes on the seat but have not been sure where it goes. Mine looks like one could be reproduced from some body side molding if you could glue or conceal tacks on the underside.

Hi canadiantim, Sorry, I do not have a picture. I have tried & tried to post some pictures at other times but I can't seem to get it to work! So I will try to explain the best I can what it looks like. Basicly it looks like what you have except instead of rubber mine is some kind of 3/8" half round wood doweling bent to conform to the couture of the seat top. It has a metal strip under it with 3/4" long wire brads which have broken off from the tack welds that held them in place. So I plan to put new small nails through the wood piece, then re-cover the piece with what looks like the material the wind lace is covered with since the old stuff is long gone! Thank's Tim, Joe.
