So I have been rebuilding my second generator for my second 1929 and the pulley on it is not correct for at least up to 1932. Looking for a correct 346745 but in the meantime I am wondering if anyone knows what year the one I have is for? It measures 3 15/16 diameter, 1' width at the flange and total 1 3/16" from front face to hub. No parts number but it has20 cast on the front near the hub. I am guessing this was put on either due to breakage of the original or to reduce over-charging at higher speeds. Thanks
The solid generator pulleys without the three bars are aftermarket. I attempted to post a table from an article I wrote for the G&D many year ago. The data is there but it doesn't allow tabs or spaces so the table is easier to see. If you copy it to a text processor program you can make it more readable.

D = diameter, W = overall width, T = thickness.
The part numbers with "Measurements" blank are pulleys that I didn't have to measure and document. If anyone can fill in the blank(s) please do so and we can make the table more complete.
Hope this helps folks identify the correct pulley for their early generators.
From the 33 UMS Delco-Remy catalog. This shows their replacement for the 346745. It is much heavier and no cut outs, just a solid pulley. They must have had breakage problems or were consolidating part numbers.
Part number 817312 cast into the rear and it is the same size as the 346745.

To me it measures the same. The 346745 is a very fine casting that was then machined. The 817312 is a much heavier truck like pulley with no machining on the outside of the pulley groove.The edges of the 346745 at the groove are very thin so when measuring thickness as defined by Chipper's pulley chart the 346745 measures .980 and the 817312 measures 1.009.
