Just wondering if the 55 Chevy hot rod from the "American Graffitti" film driven by Harrison Ford's character Bob Falfa is still alive and well in the Baltimore area.???
Saw an old You Tube video of it at a show in Maryland years back where it was owned by two guys acting out the scene ("...ain't he neat??") LOL

Thought I had read that the car from two lane blacktop driven by James Taylor was the same car used in American Graffiti. Wonder if there was any truth to that. It would be a case of a Hollywood car making the rounds.

I read the same thing. I think you are correct. They actually used several 55s for the A.G. movie. The one they flipped and burned was a 4 door made to look like a 2 door . If you look at the bonus tracks on the movie CD, George Lucas talks about how they could not get the car to roll no matter what they did, so eventually, they built a ramp to get the car to flip over.
