Had a great day participating in our Parade. I was near the front so drove only about an hour and fifteen minutes riding the clutch the whole way. I liked beeping the horn about every 30 seconds so by the end the horn was pretty horse so know my battery got a good workout but also was at 6.26 volts by the time I got home (5 miles). What I didn't like is the amount of clutch chatter I had by the end of the parade. I am wondering if this will be my last parade??? Have others had problems with excessive clutch wear from driving in parades? Since I was near the front of the parade I didn't have a lot of small children running out for candy, but was amazed at the size of bags the kids were carrying, it was like Halloween. It is also really quit something to have people clap and wave when your car passes them.
Thanks VETERANS for your service. Our small town really showed a lot of well deserved appreciation.
