Looking to connect with 1940 owners whose vehicle has the trunk shelf over the spare tire. My car doesn't have it and I'd like to make one up. I have some useful pictures of the shelf off the internet but need info on dimensions of the metal frame. Also, I can't tell if the spare slides under the shelf or if perhaps the shelf is hinged at the rear of the trunk and lifts up. Thanks for any info, Bob
