are mid 30s chevy/gmc frames identical? i have a truck, and a frame i think are 36, but prev. owner said body chevy, frame gmc. no front susp, am looking to go m2, but dont see kits for gmc, only chevy.

Based upon what I learned from a fellow who used to sell GMC pickups at swaps- GM was just different enough from Chev to prevent being able to swap parts up until about 1962 (give or take)

So assume the frame to be GM- Have to keep in mind that up until recent history, the costs of running two differnt truck platforms instead of one was of little concern. <img border="0" alt="[twix]" title="" src="graemlins/twix.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[twix]" title="" src="graemlins/twix.gif" />
