Don't quite understand your question. Can you be more specific?

Hi Russell,

The only G&D Magazine index I can find now is the one available through the VCCA site. It is under the "Members Only" section.

It only goes back to August 2011.

Now that you have posted this I seem to remember Bill Barker asking for volunteers to help him post the full catalog of G&D's.

Maybe Peter G. or Bill can jump in and help refresh our memories.

I just did some more checking. None of the magazines from 2014 and earlier will open.

JD, At the VCCA home page, where members can see the G&D mags from the past, no longer goes all the way back to the very first G&D as it did at one time. I remember reading the very first (just a news letter in the beginning). Not so now! Just wondering what happened? Now only goes back to August 2011.

Under, members only area........

Okay, there is where the confusion is.......you didn't mention the VCCA homepage just the members only area so I assumed you were talking about the members only area on the chat forum. Now, I understand what you were talking about.

He's talking about the G&D issues for the first two years - 1961 and 1962.
They don't appear to have been moved to the new site.

Just curious as to why some of these items like the past G&D's on the VCCA home page were not moved to the new site?

Also, I have a question regarding the Followed Lists catagory on the chat site: In the "Followed Forums" section under "Edit Followed Forums" I have all of the forums checked as "No" on the "Followed Forums" however, there are four existing threads from 2012 on the "Followed Forums" that I want to delete. I don't see a way to delete them. How can they be deleted? On the "Followed Threads" and "Followed Users" those entries there can be deleted but not the entries on "Followed Forums".

There were G&D "COVERS" all the way back to the beginning. They can be found in the photo gallery here: https://vcca.site-ym.com/gallery/

Complete electronic versions of the G&D (going back to 2011) can be found here: https://vcca.site-ym.com/page/gdmembers

I've recently got 2 complete copies of all G&Ds and will be working with the BOD to get them scanned and online.

Note: Login is requested before you can see the back issues.

Just tested and work great for me. Can you send me a screen dump of what you see?

The link to the G&D covers above is incorrect. Here's the correct page: https://vcca.site-ym.com/gallery/

Cheers, Dean

The first year(s) that was just a news letter were posted complete at one time. I know because I read them in their entirety. Even clipped and saved some articles about/by Fred Upshaw ?.

You are referring to the first 23 months of VCCA Newsletters (October 1961 - August 1963) that I had posted on the previous VCCA web site. This was the complete issue and not just the covers.

I can't find them here either, and I assume that they were not copied over to the current site.

Thank you Bill. I was surprised that no one else remembered reading any of the first issues and confirmed they were indeed there at one time. Again, thanks!
