Talked to Snyders Antique Auto. They need patterns or dimensions for car seat springs. I have a 1925 Superior K touring and a 1926 Superior V coupe with trunk. Does anyone know where I can get springs or dimensions? Can Ford Model T springs fit? They seem to be more available. Appreciate any help. Will be needing soon. Eric in Reno, NV

When I was finishing my '25 Touring, I hunted everywhere for seats/springs. No luck anywhere. The upholstery guy and I settled on some stiff foam for the base vs springs. It turned out very well. I now have some springs that came out of the '27 Landau Sedan I am restoring, but have not figured out if they are the same size that went in the '25.

Did you attach the seats to plywood and use hangers like a ford model A? Looking at all my options. Eric in Reno

I had a new set (back and bottom) made for my '28 speeder. The guy that I bought them from had the template to make up the springs and they fit perfectly. If you are still looking for a source let me know and i will dig through my emails to find his contact information.

I sure would appreciate all the info you have. I am considering buying Model A Ford springs and modifying them to fit my cars. They are in stock and the same price as everyone else ($250). Please send to e-mail: eericcf@netzero.net thanks again. Eric in Reno

Rusty,

I checked my records and I purchased my 1928 AB coupe seat springs from Snyders Antique Auto, 12925 Woodworth Rd, New Springfield, Ohio 44443 (330) 549-5313 https://www.snydersantiqueauto.com

They had the pattern for my project and it was a perfect fit.

I talked to them and they don't have patterns for a touring or a coupe. Waiting on dimensions from VCCA members so I can proceed.
