Can anyone tell me what these rear fenders fit? I picked them up with a 36 standard 4 door body. They are not for a 36 standard 4 door. And the guy I got them from said they are not for his 37 either.
Thank you,
Steve S

Are 36 Standard and 36 Masters different? And are 4 Dr. Fenders different from 2 Dr.?

I do not think any 36 had the gas outlet through the fender, on the right side, but I am not sure.

They look exactly like the 1938 fenders I keep stepping around in my garage. The one with fuel tank hole is for a sedan, coupe has the hole in body.
It's possible they are truck as I've seen truck fenders on Ebay that look the same as my coupe fenders but obviously would be larger with some other differences that might only be obvious side by side...

Those are 1938 passenger car fenders. They will also fit a 1937 but are slightly fatter than a 1937 fender because the 1938 had a wider wheel tread. Chevrolet discontinued the 1937 fender and then sold the 1938 to cover both years.

Yes, I cannot tell the difference without measuring. I have had people tell me that it is so obvious that if you have one of each it will look bad but I can't see the difference unless they
are side by side.
