when replacing the oil pan gasket and rear main seal on a 1941 216 , by lowering the crank down and with the replacment seal in, will the dippers need to be realigned to the oil pan trough or will the be the same before disassembley dance

Unless you disturb the oil pan pipe assembly, it should remain as it was. Having said that, however, it wouldn't be a bad idea to check the alignment of the pipes with a target gauge as long as you've dropped the pan. Not only will it check the alignment, but you will be able to spot any partially clogged pipes. Also would be a good time to clean out the oil pan and get rid of any sludge that's built up.
