I am trying to determine if the trunk mat on my 51 StyleLine Deluxe is a repro or original, The part number is embossed and matches the part number (4591535) in the P&A catalog. There is a vendor logo also embossed on the left rear that reads "Baldwin" . I know US Rubber was a vendor but was Baldwin also? I know that the front mat is not original since there is an embossed "Chevrolet 1949 to 1954" under the seat area. Thanks for your help.

I would say it was original because it has the part number and Baldwin rubber Products was in Michigan.
The early 1951 Deluxe had a brown mat and trunk lining and the late has black.

Thanks for the response. Baldwin Rubber was located very close to me in Pontiac, MI which is at the northern border of Bloomfield Township where I live. It most likely was involved in the automotive field from the 1920's. Someone posted a photo of the mat from his 51 Fleetline and it had the "US" logo and a part number 1 digit below what mine has. That is what got me looking at mine.
