A friend of mine had a local sheet metal company make a shroud that looks and functions like an original. I don't know what it cost but he was stingy with his money so I have to believe it was not too expensive.
How Sweet the roar of a Chevy four!

I have one that could be for sale. It is located in Ohio, USA. I don't know if shipping is an issue. If you are interested it would be $75.00 US plus shipping. I would need help with shipping instructions. It was lightly sandblaster and lightly painted black. If you are interested I will dig it out and send photos. Dave

Stubdo, in what part of California are you located? I live in the SF Bay Area. You are more than welcome to come over and take measurements from my '28 fan shroud that is installed in Justin (see link below).
If you join the VCCA, I'm sure there are members who live near you that can help with info or parts from their stash.Networking with a local club is just one of the many benefits of joining the VCCA. A few other benefits are being able to use this site's search function, lots of technical articles, and an award-winning monthly magazine from the club. All at a very reasonable price.
Cheers, Dean

I have a 1928 fan shroud that I am not using. I am in Reno, NV. I will take a look and be sure it is the right one. I'm thinking $75 plus shipping is a fair price. Let me know if you're still looking for one. Thanks, Eric in Reno, NV

I have been looking at prices and decided $50 plus shipping is a good price for the shroud assy off a 1928 2 door sedan. Let me know if you are still interested. Send e-mail and I will send you pics. It is currently installed in the car but I plan on pulling it off tomorrow.

I have removed the radiator shroud from my 1928 sedan. It has one broken tab, easily fixed. If you still want it you can have it for $30 plus shipping. No box charge. Will ship any way you want. FedEx probably cheapest. Eric in Reno (775)440-1774
