I have a starter number on the tag 1107257 has 4 field coils but not sure if it's 6 or 12 volt. If 6 volt will go through it to carry for a spare when on tour in the 54.

From what I can find online it is 12 volt. Waiting for a call back to verify. 12 volt verified by Remy Power Products.

1107257 was actually an industrial starter with cast iron nose cone and 3 mtg. ears. Its still in what was known as the 10MT series of starters and if you took the case off of it you could have used the case and coils on about any Chevy starter in the mid 50s up. Rebuilder did this all the time. Just FYI.
