My '82 C-10 has a fuel sending unit measuring 98ohms. The highest I can find is 89ohm. Will that work correctly? If not, what can I use (or where can I buy) to get an accurate reading?

Also, I need to buy a new wire harness for my oil switch. The coating is failing and exposing some of the wire. The switch is two prong, but the switch wire harness has three wires. I think two blue and one tan.

There are shunt resistors that are dark green in color, and it looks like they are 90ohms..which is the highest I saw on ebay. I just used one
on a 1971 car that replaced an 86ohm resistor and the gas gauge works fine with it.
