I have seen most pictures of the trunk carrier with three chrome strips, is that correct or the only way they came? Mine seems correct but does not have the chrome strips. My Potter trunk appears to fit properly. I think about these things when I have to much time on my hands and it is to cold to be out driving.

The correct genuine Chevrolet accessory folding trunk rack for the accessory Potter trunk has the chrome strips.

Are there holes in the three cross pieces that should have the strips on yours? Maybe filled?

OK thanks I figured that may be the case. If I ever have to take the trunk off I will check for signs. It seems to measure right but one never knows.
