Hey Guys, Look what we have as a New Years present. The "School is in Session" has been resurrected in two modes. It is a sticky subject at the top of this thread and will remain at that location for ease of finding. If you are not familiar with this topic it is worth your time to browse the subject for future use. The "Flip Book" version is the best. Go all the way to the end for an index of the pictures and specific subject matter.

Thanks to Peter for helping to get this valuable source of information available for our use again.

Great news!

Thanks to Peter for getting it resurrected and to those who helped him identify the information that was missing.

Fantastic!! IMHO, the flip book is a true treasure!

Here's the path to find it: VCCA home page -> Members Only -> Technical Articles -> scroll down to 4 Cyl Engine Rebuild - School is in Session

Cheers, Dean

I agree "School is in Session" was a good series and the teacher did a very good job. While the subject was a 4 cylinder unit a lot of the information is easily adapted to most engines. I did read the pics (or at least some of them) had had been lost but they were a integral part of the lesson.

If the teacher was so inclined I would think the rest of the driveline would be an equally interesting subject though there a several updates in design that would need to be covered (different synchronizing types).

I keep trying to locate this "School is in Session" article with no luck. What am I doing wrong? Has it been deleted?
