need help....can 283 heads be put onto a 350 short block with any problems?????

They will bolt right on, but most if not all 283 heads have no provisions for bolt on accy's. Also you could really raise the compresion of a 350 with the smaller CC heads, and the valve size depending on the heads could really restrict your breathing. Why not just use a set of 350 heads? The are fairly common, and you will be assured of no problems. The head casting numbers of the 283 heads also would help with a determination.
