Does anyone have a tried-and-true method of removing and installing the the fasteners that hold the round trim ring on a '34 Master spare tire cover? I have an idea how to do it, but maybe someone has a better idea. The picture shows the fastener.

I have not looked at these fasteners for my 1933 Master lately, but as I recall they look the same.

For those you just twist them 90 degrees and they come right out.

To get them back in you put them in so the fasteners fingers go in the groove in the back of the trim then press firmly and twist 90 degrees. If I am correct there is a slot for a screwdriver to press and twist them in.
