just came in from the shop with a split knuckle, dripping blood all over the place and it got me to thinking.... I'm old enough to remember the red thread that ran down one side of Band-Aid strips that made opening them soooo easy you could almost do it with one hand. At the time I was too young to appreciate that little bit of ingenuity. Now, our bathroom looks like a slaughterhouse, after trying for 15 minutes to open the "improved" bandaid packaging. Sheesh!

Happy Holidays!!

I feel your frustration Ken.After destroying several I finally realized I would have to follow the arrows and with the skill of a surgeon and magnifying glass find the slit between the two wrappers and separate them. Of course it would be much easier for a child to do as they have tiny fingers. Best by dates on grocery products are a good idea also-if you can find them and they aren't printed in dark blue ink on a black background.

At least I can relate to what your bathroom looked like. I grew up working in our family’s federally inspected slaughter house! Can tell you that when you cut yourself with a razor sharp butcher’s knife, there’s no band aid that’s going to cover that cut!
