I saw a TV show the other day that peeked my interest. This guy presents lottery winners with possibilities for their dream house. You may have seen it. Anyway, with the notion that the new house would be for the missus mainly, I wonder what we old car guys would pick for our dream car(s). So since it appears to be a slow time here on the chat anyway, let's see what we'd pick if we won the lottery and the missus didn't object, what we would choose beyond what we already have.. Lmit of three. Let's limit it to an old (a) Chevrolet, (b) an old GM product of any year and (c) any old car of a different make: I'll start: (assume what we pick is in mint shape and that money is not a concern.) a. A 1957 Chevrolet Convertible. b. A 1953 Cadillac Convertible. C. A Porsche 911. (any year) (this was a tough choice) I think it would be interesting to find out what you guys would choose. Best, Charlie Monitors: If this survey is inappropriate then please lock it. Thanks.

A)1958 Chevrolet Impala hardtop B) 1957 Pontiac Bonneville Conv. C) 1928 Stutz Series BB Black Hawk speedster There are lots of Chevys that would fit the bill for A and any mid-fifties Pontiacs, Buicks, or Oldsmobiles would do for B. Item C would be the toughest to decide as there are several 28-32 classic cars that come to mind such as Cadillacs, Pierce-Arrows, Chryslers, Auburns, Dusenbergs, Cords, and Packards or even a Rolls .

Great choices so far. That is excepting Uncle Ed's "c" pick. Does he need reminding that this is a Chevrolet site? Good gracious! Uncle Ed, Here is a hat for you. Please use it for a while. (I couldn't find a cone shaped one.) Now on to what other thinking members would pick. Charlie

A). 1934/35 Chevrolet Roadster B).1931/32 Landau Phaeton C) 1956 Nomad (Crocus Yellow and Onyx Black only) (Modern optional D.) 2018 Chevrolet Silverado Centennial Edition. I've settled by getting the Hallmark ornament in my stocking today! Charlie... I'm pretty surprised by your last choice. They've been building the same car for 60 years now. They're a dime a dozen. If you haven't fulfilled that dream yet, then you're doing something wrong. I think there's about 20 different Fords ahead of a Porsche on my top 100 list. Sheesh... and you loaned your headwear to Ed!

"I think there's about 20 different Fords ahead of a Porsche on my top 100 list." Frods huh? The above quote is what Bruce said. Peers he's worse than Uncle Ed. Is too. I'm gathering a posse up and heading north. I have a friend who has a bus. We'll need some folks up there to prepare a few things for us so they will be ready when we get there. Those things are: a. Get a rail ready. One with plenty of splinters would serve nicely. b. Someone to light a fire under the tar pot so it will be perking just right when we get there. As we raise a heap of chickens and turkeys down here and they are light, we'll bring the stinkin' feathers. We need to talk Brewsky. Yes, we do. See you when we get there. We'll be a-coming' soon. Will too! We promise that your family won't be harmed none. Neighbors either as long as they don't try to interfere with justice being done.. Best, Charlie BTW: No need to hide, Bruce, we have some dogs in the posse who even blindfolded could track a skunk through a thousand-acre field of rotting cabbages. Could too! You would be a piece o-cake. So you might as well just stand by. BTW2: Folks, we promise that Bruce's family or pets will not be harmed. Neighbors either as long as they don't try to interfere whilst the possey mets out justice. BTW3: Bruce this here is a small examble of what you have to look forward to. You and anyone else may cut to about the 3:10 mark. No need to watch the whole thing. Less you just want to.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q3eTSbC3neA

At least by the posted criteria one doesn’t have to include any on the list of the cars we already have. If we did, I would have to include my 32’ Olds DCR. I’ve come to realize just how fortunate I am to own this rare and special car.
1. 72 blazer, fully optioned 2. Olds F-88 concept car 3. 35-36 supercharged Auburn speedster
I’m not asking for too much am I?????
