I picked one to put on my 37 p/u and it has a electric clock,my 37 has been converted to 12 volts so the clock will have to be converted but I was wondering if anyone knows if a wind up clock was available for it. I would prefer a wind up so it would not drain the battery and would probably be cheaper to repair then get one converted.

Use a 6 volt lantern battery , with a 1 amp fuse to power the clock , will last forever .

A wind up clock, if it existed at all for that car, probably went in the rearview mirror, not the glovebox door.

junk yard jeff Just FYI.....a lot of truck guys, when interchangeable, use the car glove box door with the clock in place of the trucks original.....some just cut out a hole and use them so if you have some car glove boxes with clocks hang onto them :) ( I think 37 was one of those years but my memory is getting foggy)
