Does any know what engine stand will work on a 1927 Chevrolet engine? or Even has made one I would like to Discuss this with you? I might be making my own test stand and Engine Stand.

I use a four wheel stand obtained from Harbor Freight. Had to grind a little off the mounting plate so the mounts would bolt up. Have used it on several late 4 cylinder and early 6 cylinder Chevy engines in addition to several V-8s.

When I rebuilt Lurch's engine, I just used a cheapo generic engine stand, but I did put larger steel wheels on it from a car dolly. See a pic at the bottom of this post: Engine stand for Resurrecting a '28 four bangerCheers, Dean
