I am hooking up my throttle linkage on a 1932 and now realize no pictures of below carbuetor. It seems the pivot for the throttle bolts to block below manifolds, but also appears oil line that runs to guage bolts in close proximity. Doesn't seem right that oil line bracket is under pivot, as this would restrict throttle movement. My questions is what does the oil line support bracket attach to and where?

If the 32 is like the 33, 34,35 the gauge line came out of the oil distributor went rearward along the top of the lower block to oil pan flange (about 1/2" above flange), retained by a sheet metal retainer attached to one long oil pan screw with a square nut just to rear of exaust outlet & pipe, then up the firewall to the center grommet; then into the interior instrument panel

34 & 35 trucks are the greatest. 36 high cabs are OK too.

There is no "bulb" for the engine. Its not like a temperature gauge. The line leads from the fitting on the side of the block to the gauge. The sensing device is in the dash gauge. The pressure in the line from the main oil gallery on the lower side of the block is carried directly to the gauge.

The 1935 parts book indicates the 32 oil pressure gauge line is a copper 1/8" pipe O.D. (outside diameter) and should be 53.5 inches long same for all 1931 to 1933 vehicles. The pipe has compression fitting on both ends.

Thank you for the information. I will route the line as you suggested.

Easymoney your 34 1/2 ton should use an 1/8" O.D. copper line 48.125" long from the oil distrutor to the pressure gauge and would be routed the same as explained early.
