Hello All, Does the lip on the neoprene rear main seal go to the front or the rear? I had a new neoprene seal installed on my 60 chevy 235 & it didn’t leak at first but is now leaking like a house afire. Help; Thx

Hi olgzr,

Hope you are safe from the wildfires!

Typically the seal lips go towards the fluid side of a seal. If you post in the 1958-60 forum I bet Gene or others will answer.

Sometimes we all have a bad day and over-react.
