the side mount hardware I purchased in early summer for 34-35 standard Chevrolet has many parts.
Cast iron part that mounts on the fender , the long rod goes into. The long rod threaded one end to thread into base casting and other end for tire clamp. Large cast iron boomerang shaped rod that goes from the long rod thru the side of the cowl. The large nut for that same rod inside the car. The door post too the angled floor that the cast iron rod goes thru. The stamped metal brace that goes from the frame to the side of the welled fender as a support. The cast iron wheel lock that slides down the long rod. Still soaking and trying to get the lock mechanism to work. Tire clamp T handle to keep the tire clamp firm against the tire

Not the best pic, but this may help. Sorry for the crappy photo. Part under the fender isn't shown. Doug ![[Linked Image from i.imgur.com]](https://i.imgur.com/ZnIm0F7.jpg)

That 1933 setup is much different than 1934=1934 Chevrolet standard series..
The 34- 35 has the long rod mounting to a cast iron bracket that sits on top of the fender and is angled like the fender. The cast metal bracket that goes thru the sheet metal cowl is a boomerang shape and a large sheet metal O ring style fits the hole. The 34-35 set I have, the lock slides down the long rod and pushes downward on the rim.
I just got the pair of locks back from the locksmith, with new keys made. One needs a part inside made to make it work, other is fine . Locksmith had them for 2 months constantly putting their rust buster on them and blowing debris away. Price $75.00 and worth every penny and I got away cheap !
