Does anyone recommend a shipper to transport a vehicle from MA to MO? Jim, I just used a company out of Willard, MO that did a good job for me. He mostly goes between MO and SF, so not sure if he can help you out or not. I think he mentioned going up to tri-state area occasionally, but you'll need to ask him. I got him through uship.com, it worked out for me...but the first driver that was sent by the company I had contracted with (Elite Auto Shipping in SF) sent a flake out the first time...I rejected them and had to wait about a week for these people to fill the spaces on their truck, but they were good, dependable, and got my truck out safely. Silverado Transport, Inc. P.O. Box 55 Willard, MO 65781 (417) 631-7392 Max is the driver, Lea is his wife, she does the booking. Good people in my book. Cheers, Alan

I just towed my 41 from CA to NC. You may be able to do the same thing. Just go by your local U-Haul dealer and order a car trailer at to point of pick up in MA. Then just pull the car back to MO. Piece-o-cake. Imagine the adventure. Priceless. If you don't have a suitable towing vehicle then borrow one or steal one. Your call. Remember it is not legally theft unless you don't intend to bring it right back. Now I see others have offered advice, as well. I'm sure their's are sound recommendations. The one that I would recommend above all, if you choose to ignore my sensible advice, is John up in Long Island. I know him personally and you can be sure that if he has anything to do with it, it will be first class, thrifty, safe and that you will be pleased. He's a good un. Is too! Hope everything works out for you. Best, Charlie

I had a 51 Chev. transported from Connecticut to Ohio about three years ago by Passport Transport. It cost me about $1,000.00. Cheaper than I could have done it myself. Delivered it to my driveway on the day I asked that it be delivered.
