I'm responding to a member's widow. Can someone answer the following?
"What would a 1970 Chevrolet Nova car be worth? It is a 350, 2 door sedan, 3 speed on the floor. It had been driven every day to work until the owner bought another car. It has new brakes and it wouldn't take much work or money to restore it to make it show worthy."
Please post your comments here. Thanks.

Old Cars price guide put a value of $3280 in #3 condition.Sounds as if the #3 would be about right from the description.

Gads, I didn't even think of looking there... I guess that I'm showing my age... My first impression was not to consider a 1970 as being very "old" (eg vintage), and therefore didn't think about looking in OCPG for the info.
Yikes!!!! I've become an old fart.
Thanks very much for the super-quick reply.

I know how you feel Bill, I have a '70 Chevelle, totally restored that has won many shows but being that I drove a similar car in High School it just doesn't seem like an old car. My first car I bought in 1969 was a 1951 Plymouth that cost me $35.00 and although the car was only 18 years old it seemed and looked ancient to me at my young age.Several months ago I decided I wanted an "old" car so I bought a 1934 Chevy Standard that had been in a museum for about 35 years. The car was in perfect condition with only 400 miles on the engine. Bottom line, after owning and driving it for a few months I sold the car at auction two weeks ago, a 60HP vehicle is very difficult to drive around town (0-40 in 40 seconds) with mechanical brakes and no AC (I live in Florida)so from now on 1955 is the cutoff for me when buying an antique car, I got that "old car" desire out of my system. Now my '70 Chevelle seems perfect. Guess it's all about perspective relative to my age.
