I am looking for information on the interior for this car and have only found limited and contradicting info. One Chevrolet brochure says the car seats were "high-quality genuine leather" and another says it was imitation leather. I found a couple of old ads with grainy pictures/partial views, but not much else. If I want to redo the interior, does anyone have suggestions on the best place to get info on what it looked like in 1936? Thanks.

I found the same results so I consulated the 1939 part book. In the material on a roll section it offers imitation leather for 1936 1267 for the side walls only. Genuine leather is not listed. That leads me to believe the seats were genuine leather as the 1937 and up cabriolets were done in that manner also. The imitation leather back then was more of a coated cloth and woud not have stood up well on the seats.
