Anyone have an opinion on the value of this rig. Had it for over 30 years. Less than 30k original miles. 99% rust free. 95 % restored. Needs roof and upholstery finished. Have the correct roof material and original steel surround mouldings with the nails attached. Woodgrain has been removed. All black. Large stash of NOS parts and rare NOS accessories. Probably a pick up load. Original wood, new brakes, exhaust, glass, all correct parts. Tools, jack, 200# of original dealer letters, brochures, technical publications, manuals, parts books 1934 up. 30 year collection. Lacquer paint, but needs a few spots touched up. Was taken down to bare metal. Lacking an original type battery. All correct with NOS k-11 plugs. I have 10 yards of fabric that matches the original mohair. Not the stuff being sold as original these days. Hundreds of hours gathering parts, researching photos, and archives to find what is correct. Many thanks to the folks at VCCA for their valued input and assistance over years.

With all the parts you have accumulated I would suggest you oversee completion of the restoration. You have much of what is needed and will appreciate having a completed automobile.

Mike Lynch was exactly correct! My car was 100% rust free; paint was stripped to bare metal and no patches anywhere! Painted correct Brainard Blue with
cream (Yellow) wheels and matching hand applied pin stripes. All hub caps had James McConnville new 'skins' and Bill Hirsch chrome wheel trim rings'
Interior was about a three year old Hampton Coach Interior. Engine has a NOS '36 cylinder head with hardened seats and all new valves. Generator was
swapped out for a 6 volt GM one wire alternator, has been in 'Preservation' for many years and always scored in the mid 900's in VCCA Judging! A forty
year accumulation of spare parts and literature went with the car; enough stuff to keep it on the road for many years to come! That car was driven to every
meet we attended, only trailered once to West Virginia! Excellent driver, never let us down, even on days in the mid 90's! Driven on 6 cyl tour at Syracuse
New York, covered 1300 miles without a hic-cup! There was no haggling on the price; the new owner is an old friend of the family and we both felt the price
agreed to was fair to both of us! I do believe an honest evaluation would call it a No. 2 car. It is clean, solid, correct, and in need of nothing, but it has not
had a 'frame-off' restoration. I have also shown it i local AACA shows and have won many trophies, mostly 2nd and 3rd place! The car was also filmed in
the movie, "A Christmas Story" and can be seen at the beginning as I am driving around Cleveland Public Square! It was light tan with chocolate brown
fenders then, before I stripped and repainted it the correct color! Philip Lipton
