Hi all,
The Roadster I just purchased a few months ago has a passenger side tail light (lucky for me because I would have added one if it didn't). This tail light is in essence a Drivers side tail light with a home made Aluminum foil blanker put in the license plate light hole.
My question is this, was there a specific passenger side tail light housing or was the Drivers side used with a formal blanker put in place?

The tail light housing assembly that was used on the right-hand tail light bracket was the same housing assembly that was used on the standard left-hand tail light bracket. No factory "blanker" was used.

So do I just add another lens on the bottom then?

There was no lens on the bottom of the 1931-32 tail light housing. Just a hole with a round rubber gasket. The tip of bulb for the license plate protruded through the hole and was held in place and sealed by the round rubber gasket.
