Today I sat the engine and gearbox in place. While not properly tightened down it hasnt fallen onto the floor yet, it has only been out of the truck for 35 years so it all looks a little strange tonight. Another step closer to driving.

Awesome. Nice to have measurable progress and engine and trans even sitting back in there is a great milestone!

I still have a long way to go before I can drive it. Each step does make it that little bit closer though.

Today I put most of the front section of wiring harness in place, didnt have enough wire so will have to go shopping to complete that exercise. I decided to use modern wire as that is what was available today.
