Woody,
In my opinion, "what is it worth" can only be deterimined by the following:
How much does the seller want for the vehicle and how much are you willing to pay for the vehicle....and do your two figures match or come fairly close.
Again,
In my opinion, Appraisals, books that state value, etc. etc. etc. are only as good as the paper they are written on when it comes to a seller selling and a buyer buying.
If the vehicle is what you want and the price is within what you can afford or are willing to pay......then buy it!
This hobby is an expensive one. Spending a little more than what you anticipated is usually the norm rather than the exception.
