I have a line on a very original delux window van ,One owner only used in vactions and garaged all its life . inside and out are like new ,about 60000 miles total.Never any repaint or body work . I have known it since new and would like to purchase it .To use it for show ? Ihave never seen anything at any car shows in the van class ,it would be great for the new VCCA class. Now the problem is what is it worth ? You cant go by truck values .Any ideas on what its worth ???????

Woody,

In my opinion, "what is it worth" can only be deterimined by the following:

How much does the seller want for the vehicle and how much are you willing to pay for the vehicle....and do your two figures match or come fairly close.

Again, In my opinion, Appraisals, books that state value, etc. etc. etc. are only as good as the paper they are written on when it comes to a seller selling and a buyer buying.

If the vehicle is what you want and the price is within what you can afford or are willing to pay......then buy it!

This hobby is an expensive one. Spending a little more than what you anticipated is usually the norm rather than the exception.

would this van be something that a person would want to show ? There not common show material .I have seen cars at shows that you wondered why they were there. It is really nice but would it something out of place other than anational meet? of course i could use it to tow my 31.
