Pat, Did the cable originally go from A to B at a 90 degree angle and then to the linkage? Does it make a big loop now to make it easier to move back and forth? Thanks, Pete V

Thanks, Pete V Pete it always did a big loop from the dashfirewall to the lever. the only difference it is now secured closer to the carb body. Previously it was outside of the carb bottom flange. Does this make any sense?

Pat, Your pic shows a cable in both A and B so I am confused.

Ah OK. I see how it could be confusing. The cable at B is the choke. B is supposed to indicate the empty bracket that its arrow points down to.

The cable brackets in the picture are for a later year and not correct for a 1934.......part of the problem.
