In the August 2018 issue of the G&D on page 9 lower right is some info on the 60th anniversary meet. It says "for more information email vccameet@gmail.com". I did when I read this info but have heard anything. Wondering if anyone else has had any luck or has gotten any additional information.
This will be our first big VCCA convention and planning on entering the HPOCF class.

Corvaired and bobq1951chevy, I just got the confirmed date on Sunday, the 60th Anniversary meet in Bowling Green will be July 18-24!

Hello all: I also plan on being there if I am still alive. The G&D will begin publishing articles probably beginning around December of 2019 concerning all facets of the 2021 Anniversary Meet. For example, the 2021 Chief Judge Chris Cufr will probably write an article detailing everything you need you know about the judging to be done in Bowling Green. IF you have never had a vehicle judged before in the VCCA, contact Bruce DeFord, Chair of the National Judging Committee and obtain a VCCA Judging Manual. We also will be publishing in the G&D after December 2019, full articles about: model car contest, youth events, driving tours in the area, information on a Chevrolet parts swap meet, how to obtain tickets to the Corvette Assembly Plant, what is Field Entrance Check, etc., etc. The registration form for the meet will be available on-line. There will be an announcement as to the exact date that you can reserve a room at the host hotel which is obviously within one year of the meet. For the last few anniversary meets, the host hotel has sold out within hours, not days. At this meet, there are 2 major hotels within a 2 minute walk of the host hotel. Bowling Green also offers lots of hotels within a one mile radius of the convention center. Camping for motorhomes will also be announced.
As you can see, the event is BIG. We always have lots of VCCA members that attend from their home countries being: Canada, Sweden, Germany, Switzerland, Australia and numerous other countries. Feel free to ask specific questions. Many of the folks on Chevy Chat have attended multiple anniversary meets. We only schedule these Anniversary Meets once every 5 years. This commemorates our forming of the VCCA back in 1961 in the great state of California. Stay tuned for additional details.
