I had to log on a couple of nights ago. It has been a while since I had to do that. When I went to look at the forums they all showed there were new posts on each one. I knew that was wrong so I just closed the window to see if it would clear up over night. It did. This is just for information if you had this problem.

That does not make any sense other than a browser cache issue.
Which does happen.
Which would have happened if you closed your browser completely.
Eventually the browser cache will clear itself.
You probably had some residual cookies still existing.

The proper way.
I still stand by, login in and select your profile link in the top right and select cookies and expire them.
If you have login issues.
Then login again.

Fyi,
Even if you elect to remain logged in , your cookies will expire after 30 days.
But may not expire all the cookies set by the forum sometimes by themself.
So if you have issues follow the proper way. as noted above.

I agree that this appears to be related to settings in my browser which include expiration of coolies as well as clearing of the cache.

I never marked it on a calendar to track the frequency but I do know that every now and then I have to log in again to various forum sites I use.

I consider it another example of Bill Gates plan for world domination!

Got to look out for that Bill Gates fellow. I have no problem of how it is working for me. I just deleted cookies and will see how it works. Speaking of cookies, I need to make some oatmeal chocolate chip ones.
