I have a 1936 Master Deluxe barn find that I was going to redo, but plans have changed.
It's all original and complete except for the paint. It was in the movie Lost in Yonkers and they painted it brown for a scene.
I don't see any of these cars online to come up with a price.
The body and chassis are in good shape.
Does anybody know what this car might be worth?

You may want to check out Old Cars Weekly Price Guide......remember, its just a guide but I've watched it, and purchased by "condition" and it has been pretty much on the money. After about 40 years I'd say they have a decent guess at it.
1937 Chevy 1/2 ton Pickup 1950 Chevy Styleline Deluxe Coupe 1953 Chevy 1/2 ton Panel Delivery
I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hubcap than ride in a Ferd.

These cars are very rare due to so many being turned into hot rods these days. Remember that 1936 was a split year with cars divided between [early] all wood body under and [late] half wood and half steel under the body. They are the representation of the advance into today's modern car. It is worth being saved.

All 1936 models has a steel floor. The only body change was in the Spring of 1936 some Standard models got all steel doors.

How well does it run and drive? That would be a factor.

TERRILL..................the 35 master 36 master and standard became street hot rod fodder only because the 32--34 + 35 std models sources have dried up , low production height of depression, and command much more money. 1937---1941 Chevrolets are more in demand due to being prettier than 35-36 's . Same applies to fords......Model a's, 32, 33-34, 36 , 39-40 were the demand cars...........ugly ducklings were considered to be 35 ford, 1937-1938, 1939 standard and seriously less popular. Supply for their resurgence to pop was dollar value of the others listed and lack of supply. Ya, beauty is in the eye of the beholder , but viewing one not good after I JUST HAD LUNCH mike lynch

I somewhat agree with the above. The 1935 Master and 1936 Master and Standards were considered bulbus looking and not good looking. Also often the body wood was rotting causing doors to sag, etc. I grew up with the 1936 models and considered them good looking but not all shared my opinion.

The so called "Bulbus" look was an aerodynamic improvement over the old square body design. Air tunnel test show a reduction in drag and thus added to the speed and stability of this vehicle. Just like placing the headlights together on the front. A design to improve vision at night. These and a lot of other improvement changes made Chevy the top in national sales for 1936!
